Australian Assignments:
We had to do an assighnment on someone that was either an Indiginous Australian or someone that was Australian.
I ended up deciding to do Cathy Freeman, she was a Indiginous Australian. By the way she was a champion runner.
Well, what we had to do was to pick someone, then before we went back to our tables we were given a rubric cube which is something that tells you everything that you would need on your poster for it to get a 10/10 and for it to etleast be a good poster. We then had to go back to our tables and find information on our computer, most of the information was stored in the wikispaces. After we got all our information and our last session was finished we went down to the floor and got a partner, because they were going to correct my work and I was going to correct theirs. Then we had to hang them up with the teachers. Here is a sample of my assignment.
Australian Flag:
In class we had a talk about the Australian Flag, we all had a vote about if we want to keep the original flag or change it. Most people said that they would like to keep the Aussie flag but there was some that said we should change it.
I personaly believe that we should keep the flag hopw it is because it is history and has been around for a long time.
But even if we thought it shouldn't be changed we all still had to create our own Aussie Flag on Paint Dot Net, or there were other programs we could of done them on but I did mine on Paint Dot Net.
